Avoidable Injury Mapping Exercise

A survey has been undertaken by the East Midlands Avoidable Injuries Group, which is a multi-agency partnership closely linked to the Regional Assembly's Public Health Task Group and the Regional Crime and Community Safety Task Group. The aim was to develop a list of agencies and projects in the East Midlands that concern the reduction of avoidable injury. This information has now been published and made freely available to facilitate the development of contacts and potential partnerships, and the sharing of knowledge, experience and practice.

Databases of current activities and contacts have been developed for Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire, and these can be accessed via the EMPHASIS website:
